Mad Radish brings naturally grown vegetables and pasture raised chicken & eggs to market each week - and a whole lot of heart behind it! Tell us about yourself and your business.
My name is Brittany, and I'm with Mad Radish Farm. We've been going to the Downingtown farmers market for six years now. On our farm, we raise non-certified organic vegetables and herbs, and pasture-raised chicken and eggs.

Why is it important to support small farms and makers?
It's important to support your small growers and producers because it keeps us in business every week, and it allows us to keep producing for our community.

What is your favorite thing to grow?
My favorite vegetable to grow is beets because they're pretty quick to grow, they're beautiful and reliable, and lots of people love to buy them.

Growing Roots Partners is thrilled to announce our Movement at the Market series!

Community wellness has always been at the heart of what we do. This season, we're partnering with local instructors and studios to bring free Yoga, Fitness & Strength, and Pilates classes to our farmers markets. Since 2013, we’ve had the honor of connecting our communities with local farmers, fresh food, and meaningful experiences. We're excited to continue furthering our mission with this wellness initiative.

Movement at the Market is designed to make wellness accessible, welcoming, and community-centered. In addition to shopping for fresh, local, nutritious food at our farmers markets every week, you can also join us for an energizing workout, a mindful yoga practice, or a strength-building class. We’re proud to create a space for our neighbors to nourish mind, body, and soul with the best that our local farmers, producers, and wellness partners have to offer!

Next Saturday, August 8th - TOMATO FEST is coming to Downingtown! We’ll have live music, kids activities, FREE fitness and yoga classes, fresh market eats, PLUS 30+ local producers and makers!
