DAY SPRING FARM's milking season has come to an end, so we are preparing to wind down the cheese season. There is still a decent supply of cheese though. In fact, this week we have a couple of rarely seen cheeses: Peppery Percy and Kickin' Desie return for all the pepper lovers. There will also be a selection of fruit yogurts: Apple, Pear, and Peach. Now that milking is ending, we are looking forward to turkey time. Our free-range, grass-fed turkeys are now available for pre-order. Turkeys will be ready for pick-up at the market on Nov. 20th. The moment we've all been waiting for has arrived- SWHEAT ESCAPE is so excited to premier its fall treats at Growing Roots this year! We're making our transition into cozier flavors, and hope you'll come back each market for our rotating treats. This weekend we will have jumbo pumpkin crumble muffins and lemon ricotta muffins, banana walnut maple scones that taste remarkably like banana pancakes, caramel apple pie bars, "take 5" bars, and oatmeal raisin blondies. As always, all treats are 100% gluten free, but the taste and texture is undetectable- try and taste for yourself.We will also have brioche dinner rolls, all-purpose gluten free flour, and our 90-recipe cookbook. We will be selling everything the day-of, but pre-ordering is strongly encouraged to secure your treats. Also, stay tuned for pre-order options for pies, Christmas cookies, and gift baskets in the months of November and December!
