Event Parking & Street Closure in Kimberton Village

We look forward to welcoming you all to the charming Kimberton Village for Craft & Mercantile! Our team has been working diligently to make event parking and navigation as safe and seamless as possible. We appreciate your patience and caution upon arriving in the Village for the event.

Out of an abundance of caution, Kimberton Road will be closed to thru traffic between Prizer Rd & Hares Hill Rd. Event attendees, Kimberton Whole Foods shoppers, restaurant patrons, and residents will be permitted to enter Kimberton Rd through the Hares Hill Rd side. Residents only will be permitted to enter through the Prizer Rd side. Any non-event or non-related business traffic will be rerouted around via either Hares Hill Rd or Coldstream Rd.

Event parking is available in the CR Davis parking lot (next to KWF store & behind the warehouse) and the municipal lot on Prizer Rd. Our parking attendants will be stationed & ready to direct traffic and parking at each of these locations. If these lots are full, traffic will be directed to overflow parking at the KYAL Baseball Fields across from Kimberton Fairgrounds. The event can be easily accessed via a 5-7 minute walk from overflow parking thru Kimberton Park past the amphitheater which backs up to Kimberton Whole Foods parking lot. If you’re unfamiliar with the area, don’t worry! Clearly marked signage will be posted to guide you from your parking lot to the event, and our parking attendants can happily guide you in the right direction. Handicap parking is available in the KWF store parking lot, first come first served.

While we hope there will be parking readily available for all who attend, we do recommend & appreciate carpooling or ride-sharing when possible!

Please note: Kimberton Whole Foods grocery store will be open until 8pm!

While we love your furry friends, dogs are not permitted at this event due to lack of green space for them to play, large crowds of humans (incl. small children), and vehicle traffic expected in parking areas - all of which combined do not offer a welcoming environment for dogs. We appreciate you helping keep our pets safe by leaving them at home.

Hamiltonian Designs

Art, Jewelry

Jessica H. Turner is a mixed media artist specializing in paper illustration and jewelry making. Her current medium of choice is paper, playing with color, texture & depth. Inspired by the paper cutouts of Matisse, she is intrigued by anything that lends itself to getting lost in imagination. Hamiltonian Designs is the name of her jewelry collection where she uses a variety of techniques & styles. She is focused on semi-precious beadwork, wire wrapping, and painted pendants. Each piece is one of a kind, especially the pieces made with acrylic paint skins. Practicing acrylic paint pouring, she collects the leftover paint that drips off the canvas and lets it dry on a tray. When the paint is peeled off, it is called a “skin” and can be applied to metal, wood, or an epoxy and used in jewelry.

Heady Betty’s

Jewelry

Studio Manager for a National Geographic Photographer by day, creative maker, Heady Betty, by night. I've always been an artist, and while working full time for another artist for the last 9 years, it became pretty hard to find time to express myself creatively outside of work.

Right before the pandemic, I took a workshop on resin jewelry making with pressed flowers, and BOOM, Heady Betty's began! Since then my brand has flourished into not only resin jewelry, but also charcuterie boards, moon phase wall hangings, crystal air plant holders, crystal mirrors, and sun catchers. I love everything celestial, holographic, shiny and pretty. Heady Betty wares add a little bit of light to your body, home, and soul.

KC Essentials

Personal Care Items

In 2014, our infant son had an anaphylactic reaction to yogurt, which led to the diagnosis of his many food allergies. I needed to carefully consider what I put into and on his little body. And as I began to carefully read ingredient labels, I discovered that most products contained unnatural elements, some potentially harmful. I decided to scratch-make personal care products for our entire family. I started sharing our son’s story and my quest with other parents and soon realized many people had similar concerns. And so, KC Essentials was born! As the "Queen Bee" of KC Essentials, it is my mission to make wholesome products and make them easily accessible. All of my products are made by hand in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

OnlyInTheForest foraged botanical art

Art, Accessories, Jewelry

All of my work uses ethically foraged botanicals and ephemera as their foundation.
Cyanotypes, or sunprints, capture the shadows of plants set in rays of the same sun that have sustained them their whole lives. Resined collages in the form of jewelry and wall hangings evoke the Victorian genre of the diorama, since resin allows, with various layers, a three-dimensionality that can effectively communicate passing time. Many pieces incorporate the same plant in different phases (flowering, going to seed, dying), and insects in different life stages (pupa and adults), and compressed seasons happening all at once.
