Jaime Cromer is a self taught illustrator living in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Her art is inspired by the things that surround her everyday, elements of nature, a fondness for cooking and traveling, mid century modern and folk art style illustration. She likes to incorporate digital elements with organic, hand painted images and will often use several mediums within one piece. Her bright and colorful illustrations appear on art prints, cards and stationery.

For me, art is a necessary act, a fact of living in the world and a way to learn how to negotiate life. I make art to remember, to understand, and to share.

Before starting my own art business, I worked with wild animals at local Zoo, and I have always been an avid Animal Advocate and Wildlife Warrior.
I mainly create Wool Needle Felted Sculptures of animals, magical creatures, plants & mushrooms!

Coming from a family of botanists, it is hard not to see the beauty in all things flora. When I found the medium of clay it felt like a no brainer to combine them. I work out of my home studio creating each piece with love. I start with wet clay and either throw it on the pottery wheel or build it by hand. Once the structure is created I use that as my canvas. I incorporate nature in many ways from pressing leaves to sculpting flowers petal by petal. The pieces then get fired, glazed, and re-fired. After quality checking, sanding, and photographing my work, they are ready to find their forever homes.
